Getting Started with the Duo Mobile App

To begin, select 'iPhone' as your smartphone type and click Continue. If you need help adding a new device, please review our Add a New Device page for assistance.

Next, enter your cell phone number and click Continue. Note that while we recommend using the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device for authenticating, there are other ways to authenticate, including Touch ID. However, if you do select Touch ID, you won't be able to use this option with Respondus Lockdown browser.

Setting Up the Duo Mobile App

To set up the app, follow these steps:

1. Select the type of device you're adding and click Continue.

2. Once the app is installed, visit the enrollment website on a computer, enter your SHSU credentials to log in, and then click Start Setup.
